SCSI
termination
Follow
these
simple
rules
and
use
the
table
to
determine
where
you
need
to
provide
SCSI
termination.
•
In
a
SCSI
chain
the
first
and
last device in
the
chain
must
be
terminated
with
no
termination
in
between.
• Termination is
either
internal
or
external. External termi-
nation
requires a
termination
block.
The
first
device
is
always
the
Macintosh,
which
is
terminated
internally.
If
you
are
not
sure
if
your
other
SCSI
device is internally ter-
minated,
check
the
documentation
for
the
particular
SCSI
device.
